The boutique hotel Acolpacha Tambo turned out to be a cozy haven during my stay. A beautiful terrace served breakfast, complete with fresh squeezed juice, avocado toast, and local cheeses, and had stunning views of the city and mountains. The staff, particularly the receptionist, was attentive, even serving us breakfast a bit later than usual since we had a late arrival. The Superior Double Room was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable atmosphere. However, the room had no temperature control, making it feeling warm at times, and the lack of screens on the windows raised concerns about mosquitos. Some dust also settled when closing the doors, which suggested the need for more thorough cleaning. Overall, the place felt welcoming and relaxing, ideal for anyone looking to unwind near the historic center.

Charming stay, great vibes!
The place has a really nice charm, loved the comfy beds (just wish the pillows were firmer). The staff were super friendly and helped us with local spots to check out. The bar area was cool for hanging out in the evenings. Just a heads up, the rooms could get a bit hot at night.

We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with stunning views of the Misti volcano. My kids loved the local food options, and the staff went out of their way to help us settle in comfortably.
My wife says that sound insulation in the rooms could be improved.

The upstairs breakfast terrace offered stunning views of the Misti volcano while enjoying a made-to-order breakfast. The staff, especially Juan, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even helped us plan excursions to Colca Canyon. The room was beautifully restored, clean, and had an impressive hot water shower.
No temperature control.
